Receptive enough to detect an attempted break-in, The WiTi Anti-Theft System immediately applies the brakes to prevent the caravan or trailer from being towed.

The first system specifically designed for any trailer with electric brakes, these ingeniously crafted anti-theft system sounds and external lights flash when movement is detected. Included with this system are the trailer unit, alarm horn, two remote controls, wiring loom, and status LED, giving you everything you need to get it set up in a flash.

Correct installation is key! The unit must be installed vertically and facing either the front or rear of the caravan or trailer. The wiring harness must protrude from the bottom of the unit otherwise functionality will be compromised. It is recommended the unit be installed towards the front of the caravan or trailer. This will make the unit more sensitive to attempts to hitch up or knock’s onto the tow hitch. The unit can be screwed onto a panel through the mounting lugs using appropriately sized screws.

The horn must be installed at least 1 metre away from the Trailer Unit and on a different mounting surface to prevent. If the horn is installed too close to the Anti-Theft System, vibration will be detected as movement and the alarm will continue sounding. The horn is weather-proof so it can be installed externally.

The Alarm Status LED outputs must be connected to the supplied 3V LED as per the wiring instructions. The LED will light when the alarm is armed and switch off when the alarm is disarmed. Install the LED in an area that is visible to the user. The caravan or trailer battery must be connected to an acceptable charging circuit – either solar panels, Anderson plug or DCDC charger.
